Andersen picks up 2024 European Product Design Award

Andersen’s multi-award-winning charge point, the A3, has added another honour to its list by securing a 2024 European Product Design Award.

The A3 picked up the award in the Automotive and Transport category for car accessories, with judges referencing a wide range of colour and finish options and a host of technological advances that will simplify charging at home in a design-led package.

The European Product Design Award follows a number of other awards for Andersen and the A3 this year. Back in November, the A3 was named ‘Best New Product (Domestic)’ at the fifth annual Electric Vehicle Innovation & Excellence Awards (EVIEs), where Andersen also picked up the award for ‘Chargepoint Manufacturer of the Year (Domestic)’.

Andersen has secured a total of 13 awards this year, as well as a number of other nominations, making it the UK’s most awarded home EV charge point brand of 2024.

David Martell, Chief Executive of Andersen, said: “Andersen’s range of designer EV charging products stand out in the market thanks in part to its pioneering design and so we are delighted that the A3 has been recognised on an international stage at the European Product Design Awards. This award is the latest in a series of notable achievements for the A3 and Andersen as a whole, and we look forward to another successful year in 2025.”
