Andersen hits two million charging session milestone as UK registers its two-millionth plug-in vehicle

Customers of Andersen EV, the UK’s designer home EV charging brand, have just completed their two-millionth charging session since the company was acquired two years ago, coinciding with the UK registering its two-millionth plug-in vehicle*. 

The charging milestone signals continued growth for Andersen, with the brand seeing a significant boost in sales following the launch of the multi-award-winning A3 charge point in May.

The A3, which offers over 200 colour and finish combinations as well as a unique hidden tethered charging cable, has become one of the most popular charging points in the market, collecting a number of prestigious awards since its launch, including being ranked the best charger for quality in the What Car? 2024 home charger review. 

In November, the Andersen A3 was named ‘Best New Product (Domestic)’ at the fifth annual Electric Vehicle Innovation & Excellence Awards (EVIEs), where Andersen also picked up the award for ‘Chargepoint Manufacturer of the Year (Domestic)’.

As well as launching the A3, Andersen has this year introduced a market-leading 7-year warranty and a state-of-the-art app, reinforcing its position as the UK’s premium EV charge point manufacturer.
