  • Andersen EV, Britain’s premium home charging company, has launched a new hydrographic carbon fascia to bring a high-tech edge to the home EV charging experience. The launch of the limited edition ‘Andersen Carbon’ fascia expands customer choice to 126 colour combinations.

Order books for the new Andersen Carbon fascia open today, alongside a new Jet Black front and side options. This latest product enhancement will be the first of many adaptations to the fascia and side panel offerings, with more to come in 2023, including an update to the Andersen Konnect+ app.

David Martell, CEO of Andersen EV, said: “The Andersen A2 unit offers an unrivalled combination of premium-grade minimalist aesthetics and advanced technology. We’ve launched our latest fascia to appeal to a new generation of EV drivers, and our design team has stylised the new Andersen carbon to complement customers’ luxury sports vehicles.

“Buying an EV is a commitment to a new way of living, and customers want a home charger that flatters their home. Andersen offers the only home charger where the cable is completely hidden, and this, along with a wide range of colours, allows it to sit discreetly on the outside of any property, from period cottages to modern townhouses.”

Each Andersen unit is hand built in the UK using precision engineering and the highest quality materials. Installations are fulfilled via an in-house team, which provides complete nationwide coverage via an all-electric fleet. Andersen units are subject to three years of durability testing, are corrosion resistant and able to withstand the worst that the Great British weather has to offer.

Andersen’s A2 product is renowned for its sleek profile, premium finish, and minimalist design, allowing it to blend discreetly with its surroundings. It is the only unit on the market where the cable is completely concealed when not in use, adding to its aesthetic appeal. Other simple design touches enhance the user experience, such as a light which automatically illuminates the unit upon opening and a brush that cleans the cable each time it is rehoused.

Andersen is the only home charging company to offer Augmented Reality technology to its customers to aid the decision-making process. Its new AR tool helps the user visualise the appearance of the discreet A2 unit in different positions, tailoring the colour and finish of the unit’s exterior panel in 3D digital renders to best suit their taste and the unit’s specific location.
