Continue shoppingGeely is shaping the future of mobility by blending intelligent technology with adaptable, eco-conscious performance. Recognising that every journey is different, Geely’s electrified line-up offers the perfect balance of choice - combining cutting-edge, all-electric power with advanced plug-in hybrid technology designed for seamless, long-range versatility.
To complement this advanced automotive DNA, the Andersen A3 offers an equally sophisticated home charging experience, whether you are topping up a pure EV or prepping a PHEV for its next journey. The Andersen A3 is a premium 7kW smart charger engineered with a unique design that completely conceals the charging cable when not in use, alongside smart solar integration and premium material finishes, the British-built Andersen A3 stands as the ultimate architectural charging companion for your electrified Geely.
Every electric vehicle has a different charging time, which can occasionally cause confusion. However, determining your Renault’s charging speed requires looking at just two core factors: your vehicle's battery capacity and the power output of your home charger.
What do I need to know?
Your EVs battery size & how much power your charger has.
Calculation to work out your charging time:
Battery Capacity (kWh) ÷ Charger Power (7.2kW) = Hours of charge from 0-100%
Here is how those capacities translate into real-world home charging times using a 7.4kW Andersen A3 wallbox:
For the standard 60.22 kWh battery (SE, Pro, Max)
- 0–100% full charge: Takes approximately 8 hours and 15 minutes.
-20–80% daily top-up: Replaces about 36 kWh of energy, taking roughly 5 hours.
For the larger 68.39 kWh battery (Ultra)
- 0–100% full charge: Takes approximately 9 hours and 15 minutes.
-20–80% daily top-up: Replaces about 41 kWh of energy, taking roughly 5 hours and 30 minutes.
Because the Andersen A3 fully matches the maximum single-phase AC charging rate of standard UK homes, it allows you to easily replenish either battery option to full capacity comfortably overnight during cheaper off-peak energy hours.
