Continue shoppingAlpine has pledged to launch seven new all-electric models by 2030, a rollout that began with the arrival of the A290 electric hot hatch. These premium, high-performance models will form Alpine’s "Dream Garage," combining the brand's legendary motorsport heritage with advanced engineering for a new generation of drivers.
As the official home charging partner for Renault Group, Andersen EV ensures your domestic charging setup matches the precision-engineered DNA of your vehicle. The Andersen Quartz provides a sleek, high-performance charging solution to complement Alpine’s electric lineup. Available in both standard 7kW single-phase and ultra-fast 22kW three-phase configurations, the Quartz features over 100 premium finish combinations to seamlessly coordinate with Alpine’s striking performance aesthetics.
Every electric vehicle has a different charging time, which can occasionally cause confusion. However, determining your Renault’s charging speed requires looking at just two core factors: your vehicle's battery capacity and the power output of your home charger.
What do I need to know?
Your EVs battery size & how much power your charger has.
Calculation to work out your charging time:
Battery Capacity (kWh) ÷ Charger Power (7.2kW) = Hours of charge from 0-100%
For example:
If you charge an Alpine A290 with its 52kWh battery capacity from 0-100% using your Andersen Quartz, you would expect this to typically take around 7 hours.
However, most EV owners will never need to use 100% of their battery range. To charge from 20%-80%, you are only replacing 60% of the total capacity, which significantly reduces your charging time.
The Andersen Quartz delivers 7.2kW of power, matching the ideal speed of the average home charge point.
