Andersen, the UK’s leading designer electric vehicle (EV) charge point brand, has introduced the Andersen Quartz Vision. An evolution of its highly compact, premium domestic charge point, the Andersen Quartz Vision features a digital display screen so users can check charging status at a glance.
The Andersen Quartz Vision 4.3-inch LDC display makes it easy to see key charging information instantly. It shows scheduled charge times and live power delivery in kilowatts all on a clear, easy-to-read screen. Once a session ends, the screen displays the total energy delivered, making it simple to keep track of usage at home.
The display has three brightness levels for different lighting conditions and automatically switches off when not in use to save energy. It turns on as soon as a charging cable is connected, displaying the Andersen logo before showing real-time charging data and a static green bar to indicate when charging is in progress. The screen works seamlessly alongside the Andersen app, giving customers extra flexibility in how they monitor and manage their home EV charging.
The Andersen Quartz Vision can be specified for £88 (inc. VAT) on new orders from Thursday 10th July. Prices for the Andersen Quartz start from £695 (inc. VAT) for the unit, or from £1,120 (inc. VAT) when fully installed using Andersen’s in-house team of experienced electricians. The unit is protected by a market-leading seven-year warranty – the same guarantee that is provided with all Andersen products.
David Martell, CEO of Andersen, says: “The introduction of the Andersen Quartz Vision provides additional flexibility and convenience for customers that would like to see important charging data instantaneously. Building on the popularity of the Andersen Quartz since its launch in spring, this new option underscores our ongoing commitment to research and development and further enhances both usability and efficiency options for our customers.”
Each unit is assembled at Andersen’s facility in Bedfordshire, where exceptional quality and sophisticated design go hand in hand. Customers can choose between a socketed unit or a tethered cable design, single-phase 7kW or three-phase 22kW charging, and over 100 colour and finish combinations, including metal and wooden fascias.
All Andersen home charger solutions are fully compatibility with solar power and night-time and low-cost tariffs, enabling users to make the most of cost-effective electricity and charge at a fraction of the cost of public charging.
