Promotion Name: Andersen EV "6 Months Free Charging" Spring Offer 2026 Promoter: Andersen EV PLC, Unit 1 Stewartby Business Park, Broadmead Road, Stewartby, Bedfordshire, MK43 9ND.

1. Hardware Compatibility & Eligibility
To qualify for this promotion, customers must purchase a compatible Andersen charge point between the 00:01 on 1 March 2026 and 23:59 on 31 May 2026. For new customers switching their home supply to Octopus Energy and moving onto the IOG tariff, existing Octopus customers moving from a different tariff onto the IOG tariff. Exclusion: Customers already active on the IOG tariff at the start of the Promotion Period are not eligible.

1.1. Compatible Models:
Intelligent Octopus Go (IOG) is compatible only with the following models:

  • Andersen Quartz 7kW & 22kW
  • Andersen Quartz Vision 7kW & 22kW
  • Andersen A3
  • Andersen A2 (7kW model only)

1.2. Exclusions:
The Andersen A2 22kW model is strictly incompatible with the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff and is excluded from this promotion.

2. Funding and Collaboration Statement

2.1. Source of Funding:
This promotion and the resulting account credits are fully funded by Andersen EV PLC.

2.2. Contribution Type:
The offer functions as a specific financial contribution applied directly to the customer's energy account. While Octopus Energy facilitates the credit, the financial obligation and promotional ownership rest solely with Andersen EV.

2.3. Total Value & Credit Application:
The total value provided is a one-off credit of £99.31. This credit is applied to the customer’s general Octopus Energy account balance and will be used to offset their entire home energy bill (including standing charges and household appliance usage). While the credit is calculated to cover the equivalent of six months of "average" EV charging, it is not restricted to vehicle charging; for clarity, it would only cover 100% of charging costs if the household had no other energy consumption during that period.

3. The Offer and Credit Calculation

3.1. The Offer:
Eligible customers who purchase a compatible Andersen EV charge point (as defined in Section 1.1) directly from Andersen EV during the Promotion Period will receive a one-off credit of £99.31 applied to their Octopus Energy account.

3.2. Funding Basis & Calculation:
This figure represents the cost of 4,370 miles of driving (6 months of "average" use), derived from 2025/2026 industry benchmarks:

  • Average Annual Mileage: 8,740 miles.
  • Vehicle Efficiency: 0.303 kWh per mile.
  • Energy Tariff: £0.075 per kWh (Off-peak rate for Intelligent Octopus Go (IOG) at the time of publication).

3.3. Variable Factors:
This calculation is for illustrative purposes only. The actual value and duration of the credit for an individual user are dependent on specific vehicle models, driving styles, and fluctuations in energy tariffs.

4. Promotion Period

4.1. Offer Period: 3 months.
4.2. Offer Start Date: 00:01 on 1 March 2026.
4.3. Offer Closing Date: 23:59 on 31 May 2026.
4.4. Claim Deadline: The Eligibility Claim Form must be submitted by 31 May 2026.
4.5. Completion Deadline: The full credit application process (including hardware installation and smart meter setups) must be finalised by 31 August 2026.

5. Eligibility Criteria

5.1. Customer Type: This offer is exclusively available to private retail customers. Business and commercial customers are strictly excluded.
5.2. Geographic Restriction: Participants must be residents of the United Kingdom, specifically excluding Northern Ireland.
5.3. Direct Purchase: Charge points must be purchased directly from the Andersen EV website or official sales team.
5.4. Tariff Status: Only available to:

  • New customers switching their home supply to Octopus Energy and moving onto the IOG tariff.
  • Existing Octopus customers moving from a different tariff onto the IOG tariff.
  • Exclusion: Customers already active on the IOG tariff at the start of the Promotion Period are not eligible.

6. Technical and Account Requirements

6.1. Smart Meter Mandatory: Participation generally requires a functioning Smart Meter. Customers without one must arrange installation via Octopus Energy. Andersen EV is not liable for delays caused by installation backlogs.

6.2. Technical Impediments & Ofgem Compliance: If, during the sign-up process, Octopus Energy discovers you are unable to have a compatible smart meter installed (e.g., due to a lack of Wide Area Network (WAN) coverage), you will be unable to switch to the IOG tariff. In this case, to ensure equal treatment of customers, Andersen EV will still instruct Octopus Energy to credit your account with The Offer (£99.31) as if you had successfully switched.

6.3. Tariff Requirement: Except where Clause 6.2 applies, customers must move onto the Intelligent Octopus Go (IOG) tariff to benefit from the offer.

7. How to Participate and Claim

7.1. Make a Qualifying Purchase: Purchase a compatible Andersen EV charge point (see Section 1.1) within the Promotion Window.
7.2. Submit the Eligibility Form: Complete the form on the Andersen EV website by 31 May 2026. 7.3. Switch or Move Tariff: * New Customers: Andersen will provide a link to switch supply. Customers must initially opt into a standard fixed/variable tariff and provide their new account number to Andersen.

  • Existing Customers: Andersen will provide a unique referral link.
  • Mandatory Link: In all cases, customers must use the unique link provided by Andersen to move onto the IOG tariff to qualify.

7.4. Verification: To trigger the credit, the customer must confirm to Andersen EV that the charge point is installed and the IOG tariff is live.
7.5. Fulfillment: Octopus Energy is responsible for the application. Allow up to 60 days from the date of request for the credit to appear on your statement.

8. Offer Conditions and Cancellations

8.1. Standalone Offer: This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional code, discount, or incentive.
8.2. Excluded Discounts: This cannot be combined with "Andersen Ready," Blue Light Cards, Refer-A-Friend, or third-party/dealership discounts.
8.3. Enforcement: If a customer attempts to stack discounts, Andersen EV reserves the right to void the free charging credit or cancel eligibility entirely.
8.4. Limit: One credit per qualifying purchase, per household. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash alternative.
8.5. Voiding the Offer: If the charge point is returned or the order is cancelled, the offer is void. Andersen EV reserves the right to instruct Octopus Energy to debit the credit amount from the customer's account if already applied.
8.6. Promoter Rights: Andersen EV reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or terminate the promotion at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or energy market changes.
