If you add standard installation to your order, our team of qualified and experienced Andersen engineers will install your charge point.
Once your order is confirmed, you’ll receive a remote survey link to complete online. This allows our team to understand key details about your property and the installation requirements before attending.
Based on your survey, we’ll confirm whether your installation qualifies as a standard installation. If any additional work is required beyond this, we’ll provide a clear quotation before proceeding.
Key requirements:
- Single-phase electrical supply required
- Remote survey completed prior to installation
- Final installation cost confirmed after survey review
- Installation available across Mainland UK only
What’s Included in a Standard Installation?
- Remote survey based on information and images provided by you
- Up to 15 metres of cable run from your supply to the charge point
- Connection to your mains incoming supply

Important Information
- We are unable to remove or dismantle furniture. A clear and accessible cable route must be available on arrival.
- We do not carry out excavation or groundworks. If ducting is required, it must be pre-installed with draw wires. Guidance can be provided if needed.
**** The adaptive fuse and solar package are not compatible with 22kW (three-phase) charge points.
***** Certain health & safety considerations (such as working at height, confined spaces, or complex/commercial installations) may require two engineers on-site. This will be confirmed during the survey process.
If you choose our Premium Installation Service, a member of our in-house Installation Team will visit your property to carry out a physical survey and provide a bespoke survey report. This visit will take place at a mutually agreed time and typically takes up to one hour.
Once your order is confirmed, we will contact you to arrange your survey, usually within two weeks. Our qualified electrician will assess your property in person and discuss the installation requirements with you in person.
If you decide not to proceed with the quoted installation, you may choose to remove installation from your order and arrange for a third-party installer if preferred.
This service is typically chosen by customers who prefer not to upload photos or videos, or who have a more complex property or installation route that would benefit from an in-person assessment.
Key points:
- In-person physical survey carried out by an engineer
- Full installation cost confirmed after survey
- Available across Mainland UK only
Premium Installation includes everything you would receive with our Standard Installation (above) in terms of materials and service scope. The key difference is the in-person physical site survey carried out by an engineer prior to installation.
If you choose our 22kW Premium Installation Service, this is the only installation package offered by Andersen for three-phase charge points. It ensures your installation is assessed and completed by our in-house team for full compatibility and quality assurance.
