What do I need to know?
Your EVs battery size & how much power your charger has.
Calculation to work out your charging time:
Battery capacity / Charger Power (kW) = Hours of charge from 0-100%
For example:
If you charge your Polestar 2 with a 69kWh battery capacity, from 0-100% using your Andersen A2, you would expect this to typically take around 9.5 hours.
However, most EV owners will never need to use 100% of their battery range. To charge from 20%-80%, simply calculate 60% of the total charge time.
The Andersen A2 has 7.2kW of power, similar to the average home charge point.
