Switching to OVO's Charge Anytime add-on is simple. Head over to OVO's Charge Anytime page and enter your details to see if your set-up is eligible. If you have an Andersen A2 (2024 unit) or an Andersen A3, you will be able to add Charge Anytime regardless of your vehicle thanks to our integration. It's as simple as that.

Have some questions about Charge Anytime?
What do I need to switch to OVO?
If you're not an OVO customer and wish to switch, you will need to contact OVO and provide them with details including your postcode, the name of your current energy supplier and tariff, and other details including the amount you pay for your energy per unit. Once this is done, OVO will contact you to tell you when they will switch your energy supply over to them. It can take up to five working days for households.
Can I get Charge Anytime as soon as I switch?
If you’re switching to OVO and would like to add Charge Anytime to your plan, you’ll need to wait until your energy supply and online account is fully set up. This could take up to 4 to 6 weeks.
Once you’re all set up, head over to the Offers section in your online account and select Charge Anytime.
Are Andersen chargers compatible with OVO Charge Anytime?
Yes, both the Andersen A3 and A2 (2024 units) are both compatible with OVO's Charge Anytime add-on.
Can I get Charge Anytime if I have solar panels?
Yes, as Andersen charge points are solar compatible, you will be able to use Charge Anytime if you have solar panels on your home.

*Your home energy rate will stay the same, but the energy consumed by your EV will be charged at an effective rate of 7p per kWh when EV smart charging (thanks to the payment of your Charge Anytime charging credit). The £542.50 saving is based on an average Charge Anytime customer using 3100kWh a year to charge their EV using the Charge Anytime add-on. The Charge Anytime rate on 01/10/2024 is 7p per kWh for Charge Anytime charging compared to the OVO’s UK average SVT rate of 24.5p per kWh. Actual savings will vary depending on vehicle efficiency, driving style, EV charging usage and the cost per kWh of your standard home energy tariff. To get the Charge Anytime add-on, you’ll need to have a compatible electric vehicle and/or EV charger, a smart meter, and to download our app. You’ll also need to agree to your smart meter sharing half-hourly readings with us.
