Andersen EV launches upgrade service

• New service encourages existing home charge point users to purchase a premium-quality A2 charger, which Andersen will install at no cost
• Customers simply pay for the unit, available in over 126 customisable colour combinations; Andersen will responsibly dispose of the old charger
• Andersen A2 is the only charge point where the cable and plug are hidden away when not in use for a minimalist look

Andersen EV, the premium electric vehicle (EV) charge point brand, is encouraging EV drivers to upgrade their existing charge points to a bespoke, design-led Andersen A2 unit.

The upgrade service offers free installation to owners of any home charge point, regardless of brand or when it was installed, and Andersen will also responsibly dispose of the old charger.

The Andersen A2 is the only tethered charge point on the market that is design-led and removes the mess of untidy cables on show when not in use. The unit also offers a choice of 126 colour and finish combinations, with users able to customise their charger to their home or vehicle. The Andersen A2 charger is also fully integrated with solar and is compatible with many of the popular night-time electricity tariffs to help reduce charging costs, unlike older charge points.

With its own team of expert installers, Andersen can fit most new A2 units within just two weeks of order, affording rapid access to a more attractive and feature-rich home charging device.
