Terms and Conditions - Andersen EV Designer of Tomorrow Competition

1. Eligibility and Entry Submission

1.1 The Andersen EV Designer of Tomorrow Competition (hereafter referred to as "the Competition") is open to individuals who are attending UCA. 

1.2 All entries must be submitted by December 13th, 2023, via the online entry form available on the Andersen EV website.

1.3 Successful applicants will be notified by email no later than January 29th, 2024, and will be required to create their design entry during the month of February 2024.

2. Design Guidelines

2.1 Entrants must use the specified dimensions of the Andersen A2 vehicle for their design. Height - 494mm, Width - 348mm, Depth - 148mm

2.2 Designs should fall under one of the following categories, as specified on the Competition website. Electric Vehicles, Future Homes, Advanced Mobility, Clean Air, Renewable Energy, Connectivity/Technology. 

3. Submission Format

3.1 All design submissions must be uploaded as PDF files through the designated submission portal on the Andersen EV website. A link to the entry form can be found here: https://l7ogim13oct.typeform.com/to/E6EAE0ry

4. Final Stage Design Creation

4.1 Entrants who advance to the final stage of the Competition will have the full month of February 2024 to complete their design.

5. Display of Designs

5.1 The ten chosen designs will be showcased at the Chelsea Harbour Design Centre in London from March 11th to March 15th, 2024.

5.2 Entrants whose designs are selected are welcome to visit the display during this period. However, they must register for the event.

6. Prizes

6.1 The winner of the Competition will receive a prize of £500 and have their design exhibited during FOCUS week.

6.2 The five runners-up will each receive a prize of £100, and their designs will also be exhibited during FOCUS week.

7. Compensation and Reimbursements

7.1 No compensation or reimbursements will be provided to entrants in relation to their participation in the Competition, including any expenses incurred during the design process or event attendance.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Any copyright or intellectual property rights associated with the Competition, including but not limited to the submitted designs, shall be owned by Andersen EV.

8.2 By entering the Competition, entrants grant Andersen EV the right to use, modify, reproduce, and display their submitted designs without any obligation to provide compensation to the entrant.

9. General Conditions

9.1 Andersen EV reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions or that is found to be fraudulent.

9.2 Andersen EV reserves the right to make changes to the Competition rules, timeline, or other aspects as deemed necessary and will provide notice of such changes on the Competition website.

9.3 The decisions of the judges appointed by Andersen EV are final and binding.

9.4 By participating in the Competition, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
