Purchase Ledger Clerk

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing business in London, in the capacity of Purchase Ledger Administrator.

This business is going from strength to strength and they have created this new positions within the accounts function, to cope with that growth and ensure excellent standards of process, control and reporting.

As the company continues to grow, there will be opportunities for you to take on more responsibility within the accounts function (if that is what you want), but for the time being we require someone with some experience in a Purchase Ledger role, who can come in and get up to speed quickly.

Further responsibilities will include:

·         Processing of supplier invoices

·         Dealing with supplier queries.

·         Processing of supplier payments

·         Checking of purchase prices

·         PL reporting

·         Contribute to the development and improvement of our POP/PL systems and processes as the business grows

·         Day to day administration

·         Processing and control of van fleet

·         Other general office admin assistance.

Requirements:

·         Purchase Ledger knowledge

·         Ability to understand how to investigate and resolve account queries

·         Ability to multi-task

·         Excellent communication skills and ability to be proactive and problem-solving

·         Knowledge and experience of using Excel is essential

·         Knowledge of Xero would be helpful

·         Attention to detail with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

·         Working experience within a commercial SME accounts environment

·         Organised and efficient worker

 

Hours: Full time – Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm

Location: London

Salary: £25,000
