Six Porsche Centres to offer a complimentary Andersen A2 home charger

• Porsche Taycan customers offered a complimentary Andersen A2 charge point with their vehicle purchase

• Eligible customers can choose one of 126 different colour combinations for their A2, and will also qualify for a premium installation within 2 weeks of their vehicle order

Andersen EV, Britain’s premium provider of domestic electric vehicle (EV) chargers, has partnered with selected Porsche Centres in the Midlands and North West to help more customers make the switch to electrification. Anyone purchasing a Porsche Taycan through the six participating Stratstone Porsche Centres before the end of 2023 will be offered a free Andersen A2 premium home charger with a premium installation.

Andersen EV has a strong association with premium brands, having been a recommended provider of EV home chargers to Porsche GB for over three years. The latest offer is the result of a new partnership between Andersen EV and the Stratstone Group, a leading UK luxury automotive retailer.

The retailers involved are official Porsche Centres in Bolton, Nottingham, Stockport, Sutton Coldfield, Wilmslow, and Wolverhampton.

New customers purchasing a Porsche Taycan can specify their A2 charger in one of nine metal finishes for the facia and casing, using Andersen EV’s Augmented Reality technology to aid decision-making. The new AR tool helps the user visualise the appearance of the discrete A2 unit in different positions, tailoring the colour and finish of the unit’s exterior panel in 3D digital render to best suit their taste and the unit’s specific location.

As part of the exclusive offer, new customers will also receive Andersen EV’s premium installation service, which includes a comprehensive onsite survey to help select the best location ahead of the installation. Andersen EV trained electricians commit to completing the installation process within two weeks of delivery to the customer.

The A2 charge point is renowned for its sleek profile, premium finish, and minimalist design, allowing it to blend discreetly with its surroundings. It is the only unit on the market where the cable is completely concealed when not in use, adding to its aesthetic appeal. Other simple design touches enhance the user experience, such as a light that automatically illuminates the unit upon opening and a brush that cleans the cable each time it is rehoused.
